The Association of Household Employee Managers (AHEM) is a leading recognized non-profit, professional umbrella body that protects the interest of domestic staff, Employers and Domestic Staffing Agencies in Nigeria. We are a membership-based organization of domestic and household staffing agencies. The Association of Household Employee Managers (AHEM) was founded & registered in 2019. The Association of Household Employee Managers (AHEM) is a body of registered independent private domestic staffing firms and voice of the profession in Nigeria.

To dignify the service &protect the rights of domestic/household staff in Nigeria.

Our Objectives:

The objective and purpose for which the Association of Household Employee(s) Managers is constituted are:
  • Provide and conduct vocational trainings, etiquette, and skill acquisition opportunities and workshop for household employees in homes and organizations.
  • Advocate and protects the fundamental human rights, as defined by NAPTIP, of household employees and ensure that their welfare is a top priority in the homes and organizations they are placed.
  • Ensure commitment to welfare and excellent well-being of household employees in homes and organizations where they are placed.
  • Nurture and educate household employees and association members while promoting outstanding performance in character and learning.
